About
Carly is a licensed social worker with five years of experience in trauma-focused therapy. She specializes in working with individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related issues. Carly is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an evidence-based treatment approach that has shown significant effectiveness in helping clients process traumatic experiences and alleviate their symptoms.
In her practice, Carly creates a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their past experiences and develop coping strategies to manage their present challenges. She believes in a holistic approach to healing, addressing not only the psychological aspects of trauma but also considering the physical, emotional, and social impacts on an individual’s well-being.
Outside of her professional life, Carly cherishes the simple pleasures that bring balance to her busy schedule. She is an avid reader who relishes slow mornings with a good book and a steaming cup of coffee. You might find her in local parks or nature reserves on weekends, indulging in her bird-watching passion. These quiet pursuits allow her to recharge and maintain the calm, centered presence her clients have come to appreciate in their therapy sessions.
Carly’s combination of professional expertise and personal mindfulness practices enables her to provide compassionate, effective care to those seeking to overcome trauma and reclaim their lives.
