About
Angie is a Korean-American clinician with a strong belief in the power of storytelling rooted in lived experience. She has supported individuals, families, and communities through their lives, particularly at the intersection of complex systems. With a liberation health framework of radical curiosity and compassion, Angie helps clients explore their stories to untangle their truths and reconstruct their life narratives in ways that align with their authentic selves. She is deeply relational, collaborative, and empathetic, which creates a strong foundation for the therapeutic relationship and relational trust that powers the clinical work.
Education
Boston University - Master of Social Work, 2023
Why you are passionate about your job?
Growing up in cultures where the presence and importance of mental health were excluded from the stories told, Angie understands the impact of storytelling as an agent of change. Having a space just for you to be yourself and share your story can be transformative. Angie has found this in therapeutic spaces and hopes to help clients find this as well.
