Daniel Rendor, LCSW – Primary Therapist
Primary Therapist
About
Dan is a compassionate, direct, and easy-going therapist who uses a “supportively challenging” approach to help individuals gain insight into their cognitive distortions, skill deficits, and potentially maladaptive behavioral patterns. Dan has years of experience working with both chronic and acute mental health issues in partial hospitalization and residential treatment settings. Dan’s broad goal is to create a space where emotions can be validated and logic can be rationalized, thereby fostering a Wise Mind in which the individual can make meaningful changes in their life. Utilizing wisdom from daunting activities such as rock climbing, self-defense fighting, and skateboarding and snowboarding, Dan will offer himself as a guide for individuals to lean into the discomfort that serves as a barrier to positive mental health functioning and self-improvement.
Education
Temple University - Master of Social Work, 2022. Pennsylvania State University - Bachelor of Science.
