Why you are passionate about your job?
Growing up in a West Indian household, mental health was considered a taboo subject and not something that was openly discussed. At the age of 12, Kresence started to notice a shift in her mood and sought therapy, but her caregivers did not support this decision. Consequently, she faced mental health struggles in isolation, often feeling alone and telling herself, "I never want anyone to feel like this. This is really tough!" This marked the beginning of her journey and her desire to help others. Kresence's passion grew stronger as she witnessed how empowering it was for individuals to grasp the fundamentals of mental health, which encouraged them to feel more confident. Kresence sees her role as helping people achieve their ideal selves while guiding them to accept when they cannot, and assisting them in re-evaluating their desires.
