Kayla N. Zoujaji is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey who has been practicing since June 2024. Equipped with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University, she brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. Her passion lies in utilizing evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, to address a range of mental health challenges. Kayla treats children (ages 5-10), adolescents (ages 10-18), and adults (ages 18+) dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, marriage and family issues, and women’s issues. Her treatment approach is highly personalized and culturally sensitive, ensuring interventions are tailored to the individual’s unique needs.

A Brooklyn-New York native, Kayla’s background extends beyond the clinical setting. She has a diverse portfolio encompassing experience in education, childcare, research, and living abroad, which allows her to connect with clients on a personal level and understand their needs within their cultural context. She is a diligent professional with high energy, self-motivation, and strong communication skills, all of which contribute to building a collaborative and safe therapeutic environment where clients feel heard and respected. Outside of the counseling room, Kayla enjoys exploring the world through travel, indulging in cooking, getting lost in a good book, and immersing herself in music or video games.
